Esperanza works in close partnership with the government agencies involved in the juvenile justice system.  Esperanza’s primary government partner and main funder is the New York City Department of Probation, Juvenile Operations Division. 

The other agencies Esperanza works in partnership with include the New York City Mayor's Office of the Criminal Justice Coordinator, the Office of the Corporation Counsel (which is responsible for prosecuting delinquency cases), Family Court Judges, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the New York City Administration for Children's Services, and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. 

Esperanza also works closely with The Legal Aid Society and the 18B Panel of Assigned Counsel, which are responsible for representing and defending many of these youth in court.
