Technical Assistance

Esperanza’s technical assistance involves conducting data analysis for outside government agencies or other community-based organizations.  Generally, our technical assistance work includes helping agencies and organizations develop performance measures and other indicators that monitor outcomes.

At the discretion of the agency or organization, this analysis can be kept internal within the organization to help measure/monitor effectiveness of certain programs.  Alternatively, the analysis can be shared with other agencies, organizations, or the public for various purposes.

One example of past work in this area includes working with many of the agencies involved in New York City’s juvenile justice system to develop a set of “juvenile justice indicators” that help identify system-wide trends for the identified stakeholders group.
